Draft:
Final photo
Reflection:
Describe the process, or workflow, you went through to create this image?
The first thing I did was google forced perspective photos to get inspiration and I found one that I liked, I used the concept of making the ball look huge to make something that reminds me of Atlas holding the world. next i drafted it and finally took the picture.
What specific photos you found online inspired you to make this sequence?
The photo that inspired me is above the draft another photos that kinda inspired the final photo was one of a man holding the moon.
How did the sketch of your Forced Perspective image differ from the final version?
The draft differs from the final photo because I couldn’t find someone who could palm the ball so the arm and hand had to be in the picture more than i would like.
How well does the effect of Forced Perspective come across in your final image?
I think it comes across pretty well making the ball look pretty big compared to the person trying to lift it so it gives the appearance of him trying to lift a giant ball.
Do you think your image tells a good story?
I think it can definitely tell a story different to many people for some it might tell the story of the load they’re carrying on their back for others it could be the story of persevering through obstacle life make them go through.
What would you do differently if you could do it all again?
Try to find someone that can palm the ball so the photo come out more like the draft.
What are you most proud of ?
I like how the lighting came out in the photo, i also just like the ball looking like its super big and heavy.
